Simply Robotix,

When Life Interrupts Creativity…

July 2025

Here is your reminder and permission slip:

Starting over is scary.

I had the footage. I had the story, but I didn't feel ready to share, to come back, until now.

I moved back to NYC exactly a year ago. I thought that by fall of 2024 I would've been back to creating podcasts and YouTube videos but I couldn't bring myself to film. I wasn't inspired, and I was still in navigating the tail end of the acceptance stage of grief, losing the life I spent the last few years curating and building.

Transitions have a way of forcing clarity, I didn't ask for it but I know as time goes on it'll make more sense. What I can say is that experiencing years of instability in practically every area of my life made it difficult to be creative, as you can imagine. During this time I metaphorically got to the foundation of who I have been, reflecting on who I am and who I want to continue to be.

It wasn't the algorithms or analytics that I missed but the connections. I've done my best to be present through posting old clips of my podcast and panels, as well as continuing with this monthly newsletter. This year, I started to rejoin the world more socially. I'll make a video about this soon. I've been attending fan events, nerd meetups and I believe that attending LALIFF was just the thing to push me over the edge to get back to Simply Robotix in a new way.

Right now, I can't promise weekly videos, an immediate podcast relaunch or more frequent newsletters, but I can promise more of what brought you here in the first place.

If you're in a season of silence, you're not behind. You're just rebuilding. Being a creative, doesn't have to be public to be real.

Thank you for always saving a bit of space for me in your inbox.

Why I Took a Break From My Podcast + YouTube

Life Update

It has been over 2 years since my last podcast episode and YouTube video. Life happened, deeply, personally, and professionally.

This video is a soft re-entry into the creative space I love so much. I’m back, not with a full rebrand or relaunch, but with honesty and intention.

New Video

This Is Me. Again.

A reintroduction, not a rebrand.

After years of working behind the scenes and behind the mic, I realized it’s time to show up, again, but differently

I’ve been in Blue Sky, and Skydance. I’m the creator of SimplyRobotix, a podcast and platform exploring the intersections of animation, culture, and tech.

I curate panels. I build bridges. I consult. And this year, I’m launching web courses to empower other creatives navigating the same spaces.

In the video, I don’t talk numbers or titles (even though they’re there). I talk about showing up. As myself. Again.

New Website

New Website, Same Mission, Just Sharper

I quietly launched a brand-new website dedicated to me as a creative professional.

It’s where everything I’ve built and everything I’m building lives in one place.

From my work in animation production to my podcast, speaking engagements, consulting services, and upcoming web courses… this is the hub.

You can explore my portfolio, learn more about how we can collaborate, or just get to know me beyond the scroll.

Take a look: moniquehenryhudson.com

Let me know what you think. I’m proud of this one.

“Everything has changed and yet I’m more me than I’ve ever been…”
